Tree Essence is led by Jamie, an AQF Level 5 qualified arborist with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the industry. What began as an early role in tree climbing developed into a long-term commitment to understanding how trees grow, respond, and exist within their environment. That understanding continues to shape how every project is approached today.

Our work is built on careful decision making, practical experience, and a clear respect for both the tree and the property around it. From managing tree health to carrying out complex removals, the focus is always on doing the job properly. We prioritise safety, work cleanly, and take a considered approach that delivers results you can rely on long after the work is complete.

Years of practical work that shaped how we operate today

Tree Essence was established in 2013, following years of subcontract climbing across a wide range of projects. Working alongside other operators provided the opportunity to refine systems, particularly in safety, efficiency, and controlled execution in complex environments. That foundation still underpins how the business operates today.

Alongside day-to-day project work, Jamie has competed in tree climbing competitions at both national and international levels since 2010, consistently placing among the top competitors in Australia and previously holding a Queensland title. This level of involvement reflects a continued commitment to the craft and a standard of work that goes beyond the basics of tree care.
